Empowerment Café: Moments of Gratitude

I’ve only been blogging for a few months now and to be honest, Pink, Candy & Stilettos is still trying to find its true blog identity.  I started off with an idea in mind and as so often is the case, the process has caused the blog to evolve.  While still in the infant phase, I am learning and soaking up as much as possible.  Throughout this short process, I have made many observations, some discouraging – such as the fact that a lot of support hasn’t come from those that I know and love as I had originally thought that it would; and some that has been very encouraging – such as the fact that some of the usual suspects have been supportive throughout this journey, I’ve had a chance to get to know many new readers and fellow bloggers along the way, and everyone who has decided to journey with me has been incredibly positive, supportive and heartening!  I’m grateful for the latter and I thought it would be nice to take a moment to express this.

So without further delay, I’d like to thank the following:

READERS: Thank you to those that have taken the time to read my posts.  Writing content takes time and I’m incredibly grateful for those that take a few minutes to read the things that have been on my mind and on my heart.

COMMENTERS: Thank you to those that have taken the time to comment and provide feedback on my posts as well as the guest posts.  It is so rewarding to hear from readers and to know how they feel about the content and I am especially grateful for those that take the time to respond.  After all, numbers do matter in blogging.

FOLLOWERS: Though I am well aware of the fact that followers do not equate to readers, I am also tremendously grateful for all of my followers.  To all of you who are following via email, Bloglovin’, in your readers, on Facebook, via Twitter and on Google+, and any other forum, I truly appreciate you! Each additional follower brings me one step closer to taking advantage of existing opportunities that will allow me to increase my reach.

CONTRIBUTORS: I’d like to thank my guest contributors thus far: Kia from Yummy411 and Toni from Darbygirlonline!  These ladies have contributed amazing guest posts and I’m so happy that they’ve taken the time to assist me with my efforts.  Please be sure to follow both of them on Twitter and Instagram @yummy411 and @Darbygirlonline respectively.

SHARERS:  Thanks to those that have shared my content with others in their networks.  I appreciate the support.

SUPPORTERS: Thanks to those that have legitimately supported me in numerous ways, some that I may even be unaware of.  Please know that you are tremendously appreciated.

Thanks again for the support! I do hope that you all are enjoying the site.  If you are, feel free to tell a friend about it.  I look forward to your continued reading, commenting, following, sharing and overall support!!!

I appreciate you!
